BSC coaching classes and their material formed the backbone of my preparation. Daily online Mock Tests from BSC website made me comfortable as well as confident, which ultimately helped me crack the exam.
Along with going through important concepts, I focused on the sections which carry high marks in SBI PO. GA and Descriptive section were most important and easy-scoring sections. For these sections I prepared from BSC magazine of past four months and daily and weekly current affairs on Gradeup and bsc4success along with going through basic banking terminologies. I practiced 20-25 online mock tests along with complete analysis.
I studied at BSC Academy, Gaya in the year 2016. It helped me a lot in building my confidence. Here I got the opportunity to solve different types of latest questions, using tricks which helped me crack the exam. I also followed various Youtube channels for online study. For GA I followed Study IQ current affairs videos as well as BSC magazine. I attempted minimum one mock test daily.
I started with learning the basics and then went on practising each topic separately. I paid special attention to topics like Puzzles, DI and Reading Comprehension. In doing so, books like Quicker Maths, Magical Book on Puzzles and English is Easy helped me a lot. I took online tests on a daily basis. When I cleared the preliminary exam, I started solving high-level puzzles and DIs for the main exam. For Current and Banking Awareness I referred to BSC magazine. I also used to solve all the practice sets given in BSC magazines.
For the preparation of the Written Exam I took coaching at BSC Academy, Bangalore. I went through their study material seriously. I solved the Previous Years’ question papers from the question bank they offer. Besides, I took online and offline mock tests.
The interview coaching classes and mock interviews conducted by BSC really helped me. Also, BSC monthly magazines helped me with the current affairs. They should not try to memorise the topics in the magazine. Rather, they should understand them. Also, the readers should solve the practice papers provided in the magazine. They are really helpful.
